Our office for PARAMPARA ARTS & HANDICRAFTS PRIVATE LIMITED is in the Rajat Flora building. Specifically, we are in Block A, Flat 3AE. This is in Narendrapur, which is part of the South 24 Parganas area. It’s a bit quieter out here than it is in the middle of Kolkata, which we actually prefer. The building is a mix of people living and some small businesses like ours. Since we deal with arts and handicrafts, our office usually has different items scattered around. You might see some carvings or handmade pieces sitting on the shelves while we figure out where they need to go next. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we store everything. On the third floor, it’s mostly just us doing the paperwork and making calls to the artisans we work with. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we don't wear suits or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Sometimes the neighbors from the other flats stop by to say hello. It’s that kind of place. We spend a lot of time packing things up or checking the details on new items that come in. It’s just a regular small business routine that keeps us busy throughout the week. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the samples take over the whole room.
