We are out in Saralia village, which is part of Sonarpur. Specifically, we are at Dudh Kumar Naskar’s place. Naskar Sahajpath Online Centre Private Limited is the name on the legal papers. Being in a village like Saralia means things are a bit slower than in the city, which we actually like. We run an online center here, helping people with internet stuff and digital services they might not be able to do on their own. A lot of people in the village don't have great internet at home, so they come to use our computers. The office is basically a room in the house that we’ve set up with some desks and chairs. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a good fan that keeps the air moving. Pratapnagar is the post office we use for our mail. We are very much a local village business through and through. Dudh Kumar is usually around the house to help anyone who walks in. We don't have any fancy signs or a big office building. It’s just a place in the community where people can get things done online without a fuss. Sometimes the power is a bit finicky out here in Sonarpur, especially when it storms, but we do our best to stay online. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. It’s a simple life, but the work we do at the online center is important for the folks around here.
