Our store is on the ground floor of the BI Block, specifically at BI-85/87 in the Santoshpur Government Colony in Maheshtala. Gladico G-Mart Private Limited is a local shop that caters to the families living around here. It’s a convenient spot for people in the colony to grab things on their way home. We try to keep a good mix of stuff on the shelves, from snacks to cleaning supplies and other household basics. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack things so people can actually walk through the aisles. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when a big shipment arrives and we haven't had time to put everything away yet. We aren't a big corporate entity with a bunch of rules. It’s just a few of us running the place, and we do things our own way. We talk to the customers, listen to what they want us to stock, and try to keep our prices fair. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, and sometimes we make mistakes with the inventory, but we always try to fix it. Running a mart in a government colony like this means you see the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels more like a community service than just a business.
