Dhirah Hotels Private Limited operates out of a spot on Sonarpur Road in the south of the city. We’re specifically at Southern Shop 7, which is part of Holding No 2100 in Dakshin Kumralhali. It’s an interesting area because it feels a bit like the edge of the city, where things start to get a little more open. The office is essentially a shop front, so it’s easy for people to just walk in if they have a question. We don't have any of those big glass partitions or security guards you see in the city center. It’s just a basic room where we keep the books and handle the hotel business. Sonarpur Road can get quite congested, especially during the market days, but we’re used to the chaos by now. We’ve been here for a while, and the 700103 pin code is our base of operations. The office is a bit cluttered, maybe, but that’s because we’re actually working in it every day. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure we don't lose any paperwork. It’s a straightforward, local operation with no frills. We like being in Dakshin Kumralhali because it’s got a different feel to it than the central parts of Kolkata. It’s just us, working out of a shop and keeping the business going the best way we can.
