Our office is situated in Kusumba Gazi Para, part of the Rajpur Sonarpur area. It’s down in the South 24 Parganas. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the middle of the city, which we actually like. We’ve been working in real estate around here for some time now. The office is just a regular room with some maps on the wall and a couple of computers. We are just local people helping other local people with their homes and land. We don't have any big corporate slogans. We just sit down with whoever walks in and try to help them find what they need. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and keep working. The neighborhood is changing a lot, with new buildings going up all over the place. We try to keep track of it all so we can give good information to our neighbors. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to the people who live here. We know the local lanes and who to talk to at the municipality. We just do our thing every day, handling the small details that come with buying or selling property. It’s a simple life and we enjoy being part of the community. We enjoy being able to walk to most places we need to go. It’s a good life here in Sonarpur.
