Alisha Housing Private Limited is located down Joka Hanspukur Kalagachia Road. If you have ever driven through there, you know the road can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic and the narrow turns. Our office is right in the thick of it at the 700104 pin code area in Kolkata. It is a very busy part of the city, and we are right there on the ground floor. We handle housing matters, which mostly means we spend our time talking to people about where they want to live and what is available. The office is pretty small and filled with folders and registers. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine; usually, someone just goes out to get tea from the stall nearby when we need a break. The walls are a bit plain, and we have a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. It is a real, working environment where things can get a bit hectic when several people come in at once. We do our best to keep the records straight, even if the filing system looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the horns honking outside and the neighbors chatting. We have been part of this community for a while, and we just focus on the daily tasks of managing the housing files and answering the door when someone knocks.
