Our office for Alextoby Housing And Urban Infrastructure Private Limited is located over at N.S.C Bose Road, right in the Malancha Bazar area of Sonarpur. Being in South 24 Parganas means it gets quite hot and humid during the summer months. The bazaar is always crowded with people buying vegetables and clothes, so there is a lot of noise throughout the day. We are mostly focused on housing projects and the general urban stuff that needs doing around here. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files and blue prints lying around. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of back and forth with contractors and local laborers. It is not always smooth sailing. Things get delayed or the weather turns bad, and we have to adjust. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep going. The walls here could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with the site work to worry about that right now. It is a local operation and we know the neighbors well. We try to keep things practical. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. Just some tables and people working. It is a bit messy, but that is how we get things done in this part of town. Most days we are just trying to keep the projects moving.
