You’ll find Wintson Sportwear Private Limited at 203/1 S.L. Chatterjee Street. We are right near Nimta High School, so we hear the bell ringing all through the day. It’s a lively neighborhood here in the North Parganas part of Kolkata. Since we handle sportwear, the name seemed to fit well enough. Our workspace is usually a bit of a mess with samples and different types of athletic fabrics scattered around. We don't have a fancy office with big chairs. We mostly use stools and old wooden tables. The noise from the school kids playing outside sometimes makes it hard to hear on the phone, but you get used to it. We don't have any polished slogans or marketing goals written on the walls. We just focus on getting the shorts and jerseys sorted out. It’s a practical business, and we spend a lot of our time dealing with the heat, which can be brutal in this part of West Bengal. Most of the people working here have been with us for a while, and we all know how to handle the machines without much talking. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we work through the stacks of orders. The 700049 area is where we've spent most of our time, and we like being part of the local community near the school. It’s just a regular workplace doing regular things.
