Vertex4Care Foundation

Our foundation is based over in Agarpara, right on B.S.S Road. Avijit Samanta is the main person here. We mostly focus on care work, which can mean a lot of different things depending on the day. Sometimes we are checking in on elderly neighbors who live alone and don't have anyone to help them with groceries or their medicine. Other times we might be helping out a local family that’s hit a rough patch. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big staff or fancy cars. Most of us are just locals who wanted to do something useful with our spare time. The Poi-Agarpara area has changed a lot lately, but there are still plenty of people who get overlooked. We try to fill those gaps. Our office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet to plan things. It’s often a bit cluttered with donations or paperwork, but we know where everything is. We aren't a big name you’d see on billboards. We prefer just working quietly in the background. If someone needs help, they usually hear about us through word of mouth. We don't have all the answers, but we try to be there for people when they need a hand. It’s just about being good neighbors and looking after the folks on our own street.
