Ujjiban Multispeciality Hospital is over in New Town, specifically in the Jatragachi area. We are located in Malati Apartment. Prabir Mukherjee is the one who manages the site. Since it is a multispeciality place, we have different sections for different medical issues, all squeezed into the apartment building. It’s an interesting setup because it doesn't look like a hospital from the outside. You walk in and see the reception desk, which is usually piled high with folders and forms. We have several floors, and the elevator can be a bit moody sometimes, so we often take the stairs. It is a busy spot in North 24 Parganas. We get a lot of people from the nearby residential blocks. The rooms for patients are simple. We don't have fancy televisions or anything like that. It is just about getting the medical work done. The nurses are always running around, and the doctors have a tight schedule. We try to keep things quiet in the hallways, but with families coming and going, it's hard. The neighborhood is still developing, so there is often construction noise nearby. We’ve been operating here for a few years now. It’s a practical hospital for regular people. We don't have a big marketing team. Most people just know us because we are right here in the community. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it day by day.
