Traverse Constructions Private Limited is located over in Birati, specifically at 178 M B Road. We are up on the second floor in Flat-2E. It is a bit of a climb, but it gives us a decent view of what is happening on the street below. Birati is a growing area, and we have been lucky to be a part of that for a while. Our work involves a lot of construction management. It sounds more complicated than it is, really. Mostly we are just making sure that the bricks and cement get where they need to go and that the workers have what they need to stay busy. Some days the office is quiet, and other days it’s a total mess of paperwork and phone calls. We try to keep a handle on things, but in construction, things change fast. You might plan one thing on Monday and by Wednesday you are doing something completely different. That is just the nature of the business here in North Parganas. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just know how to build things and how to talk to the people who work with us. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’re happy to be doing it right here. We hope to stay in this spot for many years while the city continues to expand around us.
