Torpaq Housing Private Limited is up on the 6th floor of the DN-1 building in Sector-5, Salt Lake. If you know the area, you know it is full of offices and tech parks, but we try to keep our corner a bit more grounded. We work on housing projects, mostly. It is a lot of coordination between different people and making sure the supplies show up when they are supposed to. Some days it feels like we are just chasing our tails, but we usually get it sorted out in the end. Salt Lake is a good place to be based, even if the commute can be a pain during rush hour. We are not interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do decent work that lasts. Our desks are usually covered in coffee cups and scribbled notes because that is just how we operate. We do not have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of corporate rules. We just come in, do the work, and try to be fair to everyone we deal with. It is a practical way of doing business. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or a permit taking too long, but we just deal with it as it comes.
