Tejomay Veer Foundation

Tejomay Veer Foundation is based out of Hridaypur, right here in the Barasat area. We are located at Rishi Bankim Sarani Lane, specifically at the Manasha Bari address. People around here know the spot well because it is near the local station and the main market area. The office is actually inside the house of Pratima Ghosh. It’s a quiet place, but we stay busy with the work we have to do every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the lane when the rickshaws go by, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We opened this up just because we noticed things around Barasat that weren't getting looked at. It isn't a big fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. It is just a regular room where we sit and figure things out. Usually, someone is here during the day to answer questions or help out whoever walks in. We don’t really spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most people find us just by asking around or knowing the family. It is a local setup through and through. Life moves at its own pace here. We deal with whatever comes our way, trying to help out where it makes sense. If you are walking down the lane near Manasha Bari, you will probably see us. We have been in this spot for a while now and don't plan on moving. It is home for us.
