We are based out of 147 Nilganj Road in the Belgharia area of Kolkata. It’s a bit further out than some of the downtown offices, but it suits us just fine. We have more space here for our steel operations. The building is pretty standard for the neighborhood. We spend our days managing steel supplies and making sure everything is moving as it should. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially with the road traffic nearby. We aren't really the type to have a polished corporate image. Our desks are usually covered in notes and coffee mugs. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and know many of the local transporters. The commute can be a bit of a drag during the monsoon when the roads get flooded, but we still show up and get the work done. We have a few guys in the back who handle the logistics and a couple of us up front doing the billing and paperwork stuff. It’s a functional setup. We don't spend money on expensive furniture because it doesn't help us sell more steel. We just focus on being reliable for the people we work with. If someone calls with a problem, we try to sort it out as quickly as we can. It’s just how we do things. No big fuss, just regular work. We like the pace of Belgharia; it's got its own local character.
