Our little spot for Shivayai Realty Private Limited is located over at Dum Dum Park. Specifically, we’re on the ground floor at FL-GC514, LP-8/3/3/1. Kolkata 700055 is a nice area to work in, and being on the ground floor makes it easy for us to come and go throughout the day. We spend a lot of our time checking out different buildings or sitting at our desks dealing with all the legal stuff that comes with real estate. It’s a lot of reading and phone calls. Sometimes we have to run across town to check a site, and other times we are just waiting for documents to arrive. The team here is small. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people; it’s just us working to keep things moving. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. New houses go up and old ones get fixed. We try to keep track of all those little details. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t have fancy slogans. We just focus on the task at hand. If there is a property issue, we try to solve it. On rainy days, the office feels a bit quiet, but usually, it's pretty steady. We like being part of the Dum Dum Park community. It feels like home to us, and that makes the work more interesting. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us by now.
