Salt Lake is a nice place to have an office. We are located at CK-281, which is easy to find if you know the block system here. Segmentico Strategy Advisors (Opc) Private Limited isn't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller setup. Most mornings start with a quick walk to the local tea stall before we settle in for the day. The office is basically a few rooms where we handle strategy stuff. It’s quiet enough to think, which is good for our work. We don’t use those big words or try to act like we’re something we aren’t. We just look at the problems our clients have and try to find a way through them. The desk in the back has a bit of a wobble, but we put some folded paper under the leg to fix it. That’s how we handle most things—practical and straightforward. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is common in Kolkata. We just wait it out or use our phone hotspots to keep things moving. It’s a very relaxed environment, maybe too relaxed some days. We don't have a dress code or anything. As long as the work gets done and the clients are okay, we’re happy. CK block has some good trees around, so the view from the window isn't bad. We’ve been here for a bit and plan to stay as long as the rent stays reasonable and the roof doesn't leak.
