Working out of Shaila Tower in Sector-V is a bit of a mixed bag. The building is right in the middle of the busy Block EP area, so there is always noise and people rushing around. Our office for Scrapix Consultancy Services is up on the sixth floor, in Unit 603. It’s a good enough space, and we get a decent view of the other towers nearby, which is a nice break from looking at screens all day. We started this consultancy with just a couple of desks and a lot of ambition, and while we’ve grown a bit, it still feels like a small family business. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in Salt Lake. We just want to provide a solid service and make sure our clients are taken care of. The elevators in Shaila Tower can be a real pain during the lunch hour, so most of us just stay at our desks or head out a bit earlier to beat the crowd. Inside the office, things are pretty casual. You won't find many people wearing suits here unless there is a really important meeting. We mostly handle data and various service needs for other businesses. Sometimes the office gets a little cluttered with papers and extra monitors, but that is just how we work best. It is a busy, honest environment where we focus on getting the tasks done rather than worrying about how polished the office looks to outsiders.
