It’s not a fancy setup. We have files piled up and the tea kettle is always on. We focus on women and kids around this part of Kolkata. It is a crowded area, so there is always someone who needs a bit of help or advice. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most people find us because they know someone we helped. We talk to people in the lane and listen to their stories. It gets quite busy on the first floor sometimes. We try our best to keep things organized, but when you are working out of a flat, it can get a bit tight. We are just regular folks from Kolkata. We don't use corporate talk because that isn't who we are. We just want to make things a little better for the families nearby. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, and the stairs are steep, but we are here every day. It is just practical work.
