Ray & Ray is a Chartered Accountants firm located over at BB 8/3 SECTOR-1 SALT LAKE CITY KOLKATA-700064. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while, and it has a very traditional feel to it. It’s not one of those modern, glass-walled offices you see in the news. Instead, it’s a solid building in Sector-1 where we handle a lot of different accounting and auditing tasks. The rooms are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect—rows of filing cabinets, desks cluttered with ledgers, and the steady hum of air conditioners trying to keep the Kolkata heat away. Being in Salt Lake, it is relatively organized compared to the more crowded parts of the city. Most of us here have a set routine. We show up, deal with the piles of documents, and talk through the various client issues that come up. There’s a lot of history in a firm like this. You can see it in the way the files are organized and how we handle the paperwork. We don’t really bother with flashy signs or big marketing campaigns. We just stay busy with the work at hand. The office is a place where people actually work hard, often staying late when the deadlines start approaching. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in, but we make it work. It’s just a regular, functioning office where the numbers come first and the paperwork never really ends.
