Ratnatraya Developers Private Limited is situated on the ground floor at 174, Jessore Road in Dum Dum. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know how noisy it is with all the planes from the airport and the heavy traffic on Jessore Road. Our office is right in the middle of that chaos. We spend our days managing various building projects and trying to keep everything on schedule, which is harder than it sounds. Most of us here have grown up around this area, so we know the streets of Dum Dum pretty well. We don't have a big corporate office with fancy furniture. It's just a functional space where we handle the day-to-day tasks. A lot of our time is spent talking to the guys on the ground and making sure they have what they need to keep working. Sometimes the supply chain gets messed up and we have to scramble to find materials, but we usually manage. We don't make any grand promises. We just work on the buildings and try to make sure they are done reasonably well. It's a lot of sweat and dust, and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired. But that’s what this business is like. We’ve been at this address for a while and we plan to stay here, just doing the work one brick at a time and dealing with the traffic.
