Our workshop is in Ambagan Colony, which is part of the Bengal Enamel area in North 24 Parganas. If you are looking for us, we are right at Biplab Majumder’s location. It is a residential kind of neighborhood, so it is usually pretty calm outside, though it gets quite busy inside our workrooms. We do fashion work, which means there are always piles of cloth and different colored threads everywhere you look. The building we are in is not new, but it serves us well enough for what we need to get done. We have a few rooms dedicated to the sewing and another one where we keep the finished garments ready for transport. It is a bit crowded when we have a lot of orders to finish quickly. We don't have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It is just a regular house that we have turned into a functional workspace. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Most of the people working here are from the local colony or just a few streets away. We know each other well, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. We don't have a website or a big marketing team. We just rely on the work we do every day to keep things moving. It is a practical way to run a business. We just focus on the clothes and making sure they are ready on time.
