We are located over at P 713 in Block A of Lake Town, which is a pretty well-known part of Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked around the lake there, you know how the area feels. It’s mostly residential but our office is tucked in there. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us working as virtual assistants. We spend most of our day on the computer or answering the phone. It can get a bit loud outside when the traffic picks up on the main roads nearby, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of typing. We’ve been at this address in North 24 Parganas for some time now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular structure that fits the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. Usually, we are just busy with spreadsheets or managing someone’s calendar from a distance. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the weather, which is just part of living in West Bengal. We take our lunch breaks together and sometimes talk about the local football matches. It’s a basic setup, really. We just needed a place to put our desks and get the work done without too much fuss. People in Lake Town mostly know us as the quiet neighbors who are always on their laptops. That’s just how we operate day to day.
