Padma Flour Mill Private Limited

Padma Flour Mill Private Limited is right in the middle of Habra Bazar at Choul Patty. If you know the area, you know it’s always busy with people buying and selling grain. We share the space with Shankar Kumar Mitra’s place. It’s a dusty job, running a flour mill, but someone has to do it. We spend our days grinding grain and making sure the sacks are filled up right. The machines make a lot of noise, so it’s hard to hear anything else once we start. We’ve been part of this market for quite some time now. Most of our neighbors are doing the same kind of thing, so there’s a lot of back and forth between the stalls. It’s a simple setup near the P.O. and P.S. in Habra. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the mill and the scales. Every day, farmers or traders bring in their stuff, and we get to work. It’s hard on the back, hauling those heavy bags around, especially when it’s hot outside. But it is good to be part of the local food chain here in the North Parganas region. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the grain processed. No one expects anything flashy from a flour mill, and we don't try to be. It’s just us, the grain, and the customers who’ve been coming to this spot for many years.
