Obelisk Skills Association

Obelisk Skills Association is based in the Anantapuri Apartment at 43/1 Shyamnagar Road. It’s in the North 24 Parganas district, right in the middle of things. Our office is just a regular apartment unit that we use for all our skill-related work. It’s not a huge institution with a campus, just a couple of rooms where we get things done. We handle the 700055 pin code area mostly. The building is easy enough to find if you’re familiar with Shyamnagar Road. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who want to learn something new. It’s a busy atmosphere but not in a stressful way. We don’t have fancy uniforms or corporate slogans hanging on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and lists of things to do. The traffic outside can get pretty loud during the day, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We started this because we saw a need for local skill development around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in West Bengal, just a useful one for our neighbors. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to work. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and talk about the day’s plans. It’s a very human way of working. If you need to find us, just look for the apartment sign. We’re usually around from morning till evening.
