You can find Nymph Biotexploria Private Limited over at Bangur Avenue, Block C. We are right near the Lake Town police station, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Kolkata is always a bit hectic, and this area is no different with people moving about all day. We handle a mix of things involving biology and textiles, hence the long name we ended up with. Our office at 61/1 is usually filled with samples and various documents that seem to pile up on every flat surface. It’s not the biggest space in the world, but we make it work for what we need to get done. The staff here mostly comes from the North Parganas area, so we all have similar stories about the commute. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens. We aren't fancy people by any stretch. We wear comfortable clothes and drink a lot of chai during the afternoon slump to keep us going. Sometimes the traffic in Lake Town makes us late in the mornings, but we try to be consistent with our hours. We don’t have some grand vision we talk about at meetings. We just discuss what needs to get done by Friday so we can go home. It’s a practical way to run things. The building is an older one, so it has some character, maybe a few creaky floors and old windows. We like being in this part of West Bengal. It feels like home.
