NOVOCON INFRA PRIVATE LIMITED

Novocon Infra Private Limited is basically run out of the ground floor over at DE-111 in Deshbandhunagar. It is Swapan Samaddar’s place, right there in AA-I. We spend most of our mornings dealing with paperwork and taking calls from the site. North 24 Parganas gets pretty humid, so the fans are always spinning in the office while we sort through plans. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular spot where we get our work done. Most days, you’ll find a couple of us hunched over a desk looking at blueprints or arguing about where the materials got delivered. The neighborhood is fairly busy, and there’s always someone coming by to ask about a project or just to say hello since we are on the ground floor. We’ve been here for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. We show up, we check the schedule, and we try to keep things moving forward without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the tea arrives cold from the shop down the road, but that is just how it goes here. It’s a practical setup for the kind of infrastructure stuff we handle. We don’t really go for those big corporate meetings; we just talk across the room. It’s easier that way when you’re trying to manage people and supplies at the same time.
