Newtown Welfare Foundation

We are located at Plot No-De-139 in New Town, right here in Kolkata-700156. Most people know this area as Premises No-02-336. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular office setup where we spend most of our days. Since we started here, we have been trying to stay involved with what is happening around the neighborhood. It gets quite busy outside sometimes with all the new buildings coming up in New Town. Our group is small, just a few of us who grew up around here or moved in recently. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. Usually, you will find one or two of us sitting at the desks handling whatever paperwork comes in for the foundation. It’s mostly about helping out where it’s needed without making a big fuss about it. The building itself is easy to find once you get the plot number right. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the numbers in New Town can be a bit confusing, but we are definitely here. We drink a lot of tea and talk to anyone who drops by to ask questions. There is no special dress code or formal reception area. We just use the space we have to get things done for the community. It’s a practical way of working, and we prefer it that way instead of being in some high-rise office where nobody knows your name.
