Nabadiganta Centre For Social Empowerment And Transformation Foundation is basically just us working out of Flat-J/10/303. We are in the Sparsh SP building, which is part of the Shukhobrishtiaa-III complex in New Matiaghata. It’s in North 24 Parganas, and it’s a fairly busy place these days. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of local people who wanted to do something for the neighborhood. Our office is really just a flat, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table trying to figure out how to help with local issues. It is not always organized perfectly, but we try our best. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, and we have to spend hours sorting through it. The area is growing fast, so there is always something new happening outside our window. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just talk to the people who live nearby and see what they need. Some days are slow, and other days the flat is full of people. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’re getting used to the rhythm of the place. It’s practical work, nothing too flashy. If you are in the area, you’ll probably see us coming and going. We just want to be useful here in West Bengal.
