Mehai Aqua is based out of Dakshindari Road. If you are familiar with the North 24 Parganas side of Kolkata, you’ll know it’s a packed area with a constant flow of trucks and rickshaws. We deal with water, which is basically a 24/7 job because people always need it no matter what. The facility at 144 Dakshindari Road isn't anything flashy to look at from the street, but it’s where we do all our daily work. Dealing with water supplies means you’re always checking pipes and bottles and making sure the loaders are moving on time. It’s a lot of physical labor and honestly, it gets pretty tiring by the end of a long shift. We’ve been at this for a while now. The weather in West Bengal doesn't make it any easier, especially when the humidity kicks in and everyone is thirsty for a drink. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just process and supply water to the local areas around here. It's a straightforward business. Most of the guys working here live nearby in the North 24 Parganas district, so we’re all locals just doing our jobs. Sometimes the roads around Dakshindari get flooded during the monsoon, which makes things interesting, but we manage to get through. We aren't some giant global brand, just a local company trying to keep the supply going steady for the neighborhood. It’s hard work, but we keep at it every single day.
