Matangi Exim Private Limited

Matangi Exim Private Limited is based out of Kundipur village. Our mailing address is PO Ganrapota in Bongaon, which is out in the North 24 Parganas area. We are located at Sushanta Mondal’s place, he’s the son of Chandi Charan. It’s a very local setup. Bongaon is right near the border with Bangladesh, so there is always a lot of movement and trade happening nearby. We aren't in a big city with tall buildings. Instead, we are surrounded by trees and fields. It’s a different kind of pace here. We do export and import work, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or traveling to the border area. Our office is small and practical. We don’t have a marketing department or a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure the paperwork for the goods is correct. Sometimes it’s dusty and hot, but we just get on with it. We started Matangi Exim because we saw how much stuff was moving through Bongaon and wanted to be a part of that. We know the people in the village and they know us. It’s a community feeling. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the goods across without any trouble. It’s a simple way to run a business and it works for us.
