Legal Wazir Business Consultancy Private Limited is situated in Flat No D3/3 of the Animikha Housing Complex on 10 Ma Road in New Town, Rajarhat. This part of the city is relatively new, so the buildings look a bit more modern than the ones in central Kolkata, but our office inside is very much a working space. It’s a residential complex, so we have to be mindful of the neighbors and keep the noise down. We have two main rooms where we keep all our consulting files and computers. The walk from the main gate to our block is a bit long, especially when it’s raining. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a small area for making tea. We spend a lot of time looking at legal documents and spreadsheets. It’s not the most exciting work, but someone has to do it. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up helping with everything. If the printer jams, we all try to fix it. If we run out of milk, someone goes down to the local shop. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. You just ring the bell and one of us will let you in. We like it this way because it’s quiet and we can actually focus on the tasks at hand without too many interruptions from the outside world.
