We are located over in Madhabpur, at a place everyone knows as Harun Molla’s. Kolkata Exports International Private Limited has been operating from this spot for a while. Being near the police station makes it easy for people to find us, even if the roads around here get a bit confusing for outsiders. It’s a local neighborhood, not like the big commercial hubs you see in the middle of the city. There is a sense of community here. You see the same faces every morning when you arrive at work. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just rooms filled with the documents and items we deal with. We focus on the export side of things, so there is always a lot of checking and double-checking to do. The area can be quite lively, especially on market days. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and talk for a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our job right from this corner of West Bengal. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the shortcuts through the lanes. It’s a very grounded way of doing things. No big corporate meetings, just people sitting around a table making sure things get shipped out on time. We take pride in just getting through the day without any major issues.
