Hudrait Residents Association

Thinking about our neighborhood over here at Mouza Hudrait. It’s a quiet spot, just off Jl No.54, mostly residential. The Hudrait Residents Association started up because a few of us living near Lr Dag No. 2149 in Rajarhat thought we should stay connected. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We just handle the usual things that come up when people live close together in North 24 Parganas. Sometimes there’s stuff to fix or just neighbors needing to talk about the street. We’ve been here for a bit now, watching how the area changes. Rajarhat is getting busier every day, you can see it happening. We try to keep track of what’s going on around our patch of land. It’s mostly about local folks looking out for each other. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who live here and care about the place. If you walk past the plots near Dag 2149, you’re in our area. We deal with the day-to-day bits of living in Hudrait. It’s simple work, really. Keeping the peace and making sure things aren't falling apart. We talk to the local authorities when we have to, mostly about road stuff or basic amenities. It’s just us, the people who live here, trying to make the neighborhood a decent place to be. Nothing too complicated, just neighborly stuff. We spend time together and try to figure things out as they come.
