We are up here on the 13th floor of the Acropolis building. If you know Rajdanga Main Road in Kasba, then you know it can get pretty busy with traffic during the day. Most of us just take the lift up and spend the whole day at our desks dealing with urban development tasks. It is not exactly a quiet spot because there is always something going on in this part of Kolkata. Sometimes we look out the window and just see the sprawl of the city below us. The office itself is just a regular place with some desks, a few old computers, and plenty of paperwork stacked in corners. We have been here for a while now and most people in the building know our faces even if they do not exactly know what we do every hour. There is a tea stall nearby where we go when things get a bit stressful. It is just a local business trying to make things work in a big city. We do not have fancy slogans or anything like that. People come in, we talk about the work, and then we get back to it. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the lift is being serviced, so we just walk or wait. It is a very normal existence here in Kasba. We focus on the projects we have on our plate and try to keep things moving forward without making too much noise about it.
