If you spend any time in Dum Dum, you probably know how busy Jawpur Road can get. Our office for Dukuri Venture is located at number 19, and it feels very much like a part of the local community. It isn't a modern office park with glass walls. It is a real, lived-in building that has been here for a long time. We chose this spot because it’s close to where we live and it has a bit of character that you don't find in newer developments. We started this venture because we saw a need for the kind of work we do, and we figured we could handle it just as well as anyone else. It is a small operation, just a handful of us managing the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a fancy website or a big team of people to answer the phones. Usually, if you call, you’ll talk to one of the people actually doing the work. The office has a few desks, some old shelves, and plenty of files. It can get a bit warm in the summer months even with the fans on, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't trying to do anything world-changing. We just want to offer a reliable service to the people who need it. Sometimes it is a bit of a struggle to keep everything sorted, but we have our own way of doing things that works for us. It’s just a plain, honest local business.
