You’ll find D.K.Verma & Associates, Chartered Accountants, right on the busy VIP Road. Our office is located at D-104, Block - 1 in the Koyala Vihar - Vasundhara complex. Being in Kolkata 700052 means there is always something going on right outside our windows. It is a very active part of the city. Our office itself is pretty basic. We have our desks, some filing cabinets that are probably too full, and the usual computers. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy lobby because we prefer to just focus on the accounting tasks at hand. Most of our work involves helping people with their taxes and making sure their business accounts are in order. It involves a lot of patience and a lot of double-checking figures. Sometimes we find ourselves explaining the same tax rules over and over, but that’s just part of the work we do for the neighborhood. The atmosphere in the office is usually quite relaxed, even when we’re approaching a big deadline. We try to keep a cool head and just work through the pile of documents on the desk. We know many of our clients by their first names because they’ve been coming to this block for years. It’s a decent place to spend the day, even if the traffic on VIP Road is a bit much sometimes. We are just a group of people who are good with numbers and enjoy working in this part of Kolkata.
