It’s a bit of a trek from the very center of Kolkata, but it’s where we are based. The office is on a street that gets quite a lot of foot traffic during the day. We’ve got a small space here that we’ve made our own. It’s got everything we need, like desks and a few computers. We do media work, which sounds a bit fancy, but it’s really just us helping people get their message out. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. There isn't a lot of corporate hierarchy here. If something needs to be cleaned, one of us grabs the broom. If a client calls, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We try to keep things grounded and honest. We don't make big promises we can't keep. The building is older, so the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes. But it has character and keeps us dry. We spend a lot of our time just brainstorming and trying to come up with decent ideas. We don't have a fancy logo on every wall. It’s just a place of work. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We like being a local business. It feels right to be part of the neighborhood here on Nalini Basu Road.
