Dang Exim Private Limited

Dang Exim operates out of the DLF Galleria in New Town. Our unit is DGK 403. New Town is a very different vibe from the rest of Kolkata, with its wide roads and all the new construction happening everywhere. It’s a lot of concrete and glass. We are up on the fourth floor, and the office is modern enough, I suppose. We spend our time working on export and import deals. It involves a lot of sitting in front of screens and making sure the digital documents are all uploaded correctly. Being in Block BG-8, we are surrounded by other businesses, so there is always a bit of a buzz in the building. The commute out to Action Area 1B can be long for some of us, but the office is a good place to focus. We don't really have a big story about why we started. We just saw an opportunity to get into the trade business and went for it. There is no corporate polish here, just people trying to figure out the best routes for shipping and making sure the costs don't spiral out of control. Sometimes the elevators in the Galleria are slow, or the AC is too cold, but we get the work done. We handle various types of goods, and every day is just about managing the logistics and making sure the stuff gets where it needs to go.
