Champahati Gyan Bikash Foundation

We are located over at Ujjal Mondal’s place in Vill-Bajeharal. It’s out in Champahati, which is in South 24 Parganas. It is a quiet kind of place compared to the big city. We have been working from here for a while. Usually, the day starts early because that is just how it is in the village. We spend a lot of time just sitting and figuring out what needs to be done for the folks around here. There is no big sign or anything, but people know the house. West Bengal can get quite humid, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze. We do a lot of small things that don't always make the news. It is just regular work for us. Ujjal is usually around if anyone needs to ask something specific. We don't have a lot of fancy tech, mostly just some notebooks and a phone that rings too much. The roads in Bajeharal aren't always the best, but we manage to get where we need to go. It is a simple setup. We like it this way because we can actually see the people we are helping. It is not about being corporate or anything. It is just us doing what we should be doing in our own community. Most of the time, we are just busy with the small details that keep things running.
