Care Of Mind Foundation

We are based over in Krishnapur, specifically at Habibar Rahaman’s place. It is a relatively quiet area compared to the city center. We started this whole thing because we saw that people around here really needed some extra support. It is not a big hospital or a fancy clinic. Just a small place where we try to look after people’s well-being and listen to their problems. We spend a lot of our time just sitting and listening. It is a small team of us. We are not looking for any kind of special attention or awards. We just want to make things a little bit easier for the folks who live around here. Krishnapur is where we live and work every day. We know the people who walk past our door. We see them at the market or the bus stop. Sometimes the work we do feels quite heavy, but we do not complain about it. We just keep the space open for whoever needs it. It is just a simple room with some chairs and a table. We drink a lot of tea while we talk things through with people. We do not have any big corporate backers or anything like that. It is all very local and grounded. We handle things as they come. Sometimes we do not have all the answers right away, but we try anyway. It is just about being there for someone when they need it most in our little corner of the world.
