Cakermon Private Limited

Our place is located over in Jugberia, out in North 24 Parganas. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren’t from around here, but it’s where we feel at home. We operate under Cakermon Private Limited and share the space at Sanjay Kumar Bharunt’s spot. The area is pretty quiet compared to the city, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on the baking. We mostly deal with cakes and baked goods, though it's more about the production side of things rather than a shop. The morning air is usually a bit damp, and you can hear the birds before the delivery trucks start rolling in. We aren't some massive factory with robots and assembly lines. It’s just us, some big ovens, and a lot of flour everywhere. Some days the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lanes nearby, and we all have to go out and help push it. It’s just part of the daily routine. We don't spend much on advertising or fancy logos. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are because of the smell of sugar and vanilla. We’ve been here for a bit now, just trying to keep the business steady. It’s hard work, especially when it’s humid and the dough doesn't want to behave. We just keep at it because this is what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out, and we wait together.
