Our business is located in Kalitala, right on the busy Mahatma Gandhi Road. It is a place that everyone knows, and the traffic outside never really seems to stop. We handle food and beverages from this location. The building is older and has its own quirks, like a roof that drips a little when the rain gets really heavy during the monsoon. We have been operating here for some time now. Most of our day involves moving crates and checking on the stock we have in the back. It is a bit of a cramped space sometimes because of all the boxes, but we have a system that works for us. We are not a big corporation, just a local company with a few staff members who live nearby. We like being part of this neighborhood. You can see the tea stalls and the shops right outside our front door. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. We just use big fans and keep the doors open when we can. It is a lot of physical work and keeping track of numbers on a clipboard. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done to get the food and drinks out to where they need to go.
