We are located right on the ground floor at 48 Feeder Road in Belghoria. It’s a busy street, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. Bista Departmental Stores Private Limited is run by us, and we’re often here with Tanuja Chakraborty Saha, making sure the shelves are stocked and things are in the right place. It’s a typical departmental store, so we carry a bit of everything that people might need for their houses. We spend a lot of time unboxing deliveries and checking prices. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s important for the people who live around here. They know they can just walk in and find what they’re looking for without having to go all the way into the city. The store can get a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work, and it gets pretty loud with everyone talking at once. We try to keep things organized, but with so many different items, it’s a constant battle against the clutter. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just put the stuff on the shelves and help people find things if they look lost. It’s a local business through and through, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the regulars by name over the years. It’s just how things work in Belghoria. We keep the doors open and the lights on every day.
