You can find us over in G Nagar Mathpara, which is under the Newtown police station. We are located care of Sumanta Sarkar at his place. It’s a village and post office area, so it has that quiet, rural feel even though Newtown is growing so fast nearby. The foundation doesn't have a separate commercial building. We just operate out of the local address provided. Sumanta is the person who looks after the correspondence. It’s a very grassroots way of doing things. Mathpara is a small community where people look out for each other. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Most of what we do is just handled between a few of us here. The roads are narrow and it feels a world away from the big IT parks in the rest of Newtown. We like it that way. It keeps us connected to the ground. There are no corporate slogans hanging on the walls. It’s just a regular home where we keep the foundation’s books. We spend our time on the actual work instead of polishing our image.
