Applique Colours Private Limited

We are located in the North 24 Parganas area, specifically in Choto Chandpur. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here. We work out of a space near Matiaghata. The business is called Applique Colours Private Limited. We spend our time working with different fabrics and dyes. It’s messy work sometimes. Our office is care of Prasenjit Ghosh's place. It’s a local setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the city. We’ve got a lot of history in this Bishnupur area. People know us as the folks who handle the colors. It’s a lot of manual work. We have to keep an eye on the weather because it affects how things dry. Sometimes we lose power for an hour or two and everything stops. We just sit outside and wait it out. That’s part of the charm, I guess. We aren't a high-tech company. We use what we have and try to do a good job. It’s a quiet life compared to Kolkata. We know our neighbors and they know us. Most of the staff live just a short walk away. We keep things very basic. No slogans or big promises. We just produce what we need to and send it off. It keeps us busy and the community moving. We don’t have any fancy mission statements here.
