We have been working out of the Rabindranath Mahapatra colony area in Hata Bazar for a while now. It is a busy part of Gopinathpur, and we are usually right in the middle of it. Our company name is AKSA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED, but most people here just know us as the local builders. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to keep our tools and talk about the next job. Engineering and construction take up most of our hours, so we are often covered in dust or mud. It is hard work, and the sun can be quite brutal in the afternoons, but we keep at it. We don't have a big staff with suits; it’s just a few of us making sure the walls go up straight. Sometimes the materials arrive late or the weather turns bad, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That is the reality of this kind of work. We know the faces around the market and like being part of the community here. There are no polished speeches or marketing tricks from us. We just handle the bricks, the cement, and the plans. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the colony near the market. We spend more time on the site than sitting at a desk, which is how we like it. We just take it one project at a time.
