You can find A.K.Luharuka & Co. over at 105, BL-A/1, VIP Enclave in Raghunathpur, Kolkata. This part of town is always moving, and our office is right in the thick of it. We are a firm of chartered accountants, but really we are just a group of people who spend all day with numbers. The office is in VIP Enclave, which is a well-known spot. Inside, it's pretty standard—filing cabinets, computers, and lots of pens lying around. We deal with GST, income tax, and all the regular bookkeeping that businesses need. It gets really busy when the deadlines are close, and sometimes we stay late to finish up every last detail. We don't have fancy furniture or a lot of decorations on the walls. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and charts that help us keep track of dates. We talk to our clients like normal people, not using a lot of jargon if we can help it. It’s a practical environment. We know the Raghunathpur area well and many of the local shop owners come to us for help. It’s a steady stream of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the accounts we look at are accurate and submitted when they should be. That is what we do here day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and work.
