Abir Textile Mills Private Limited

Our mill is located out in the North 24 Parganas, specifically in the Baduria area near Uttar and Dakshin Chatra. It’s quite a way out from the city, surrounded by a bit more green and a lot less concrete. Abir Textile Mills has been part of this landscape for a while. Running a mill in this part of West Bengal means we’re very connected to the local rhythm of life. It’s not a high-tech, glass-walled office. It’s a place where work actually happens with hands and machines. We have people from the surrounding villages coming in to work with us, and that creates a certain atmosphere you don't find in the city. There’s plenty of noise when the machines are running, but that’s just the sound of things getting made. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just focus on the textiles. Sometimes the power goes out, or the weather makes transport a bit slow, but we deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical life. We care about the quality of what comes off our looms because our names are attached to it. It’s simple, really. We live here, we work here, and we try to do a decent job every day. There’s no secret formula, just showing up and putting in the hours. That’s how we’ve always done it.
