We've been operating out of the 3rd Floor in the Gail Building for some time now. You probably know the spot near Manisha Circle on Old Padra Road. It's a busy area and the office gets quite a lot of foot traffic from people coming in to talk about their connections or pay their bills. Vadodara Gas Ltd. isn't a fancy setup, just a group of people making sure the gas keeps flowing through the lines to all the kitchens and businesses around the city. Managing the pipelines and making sure everyone gets their supply on time is basically what fills our days. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and the paperwork piles up on the desks, but that's just how it goes here. We deal with the maintenance side of things too, sending guys out when there’s a leak or if a meter needs checking. It’s practical work. Most of us have been working in this building for years, so we know the neighborhood well. People drop by the office when they have a question about their service, and we just try to get them sorted out as quickly as we can without too much fuss. It isn't always smooth, especially when there's a big project going on under the roads, but we stay on top of the pressure levels and the supply chain. Being centrally located at Manisha Circle helps because it’s easy for the staff to get around. It's just a normal office doing a necessary job for the town.
