We have been set up at Plot No. 15 for quite a while now. It is the shop marked C1 right inside Venkateshwara Nilayam. Most people in the area know the spot because it sits in Balaji Nagar, just behind the Sri Krishna Grand Hotel. If you are standing at the Good Health Care X Road, you can see us right across the way. Our days usually start with opening the shutters and letting some air into the shop. It is a busy corner and the traffic noise from the crossroad is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We aren't some big corporate office with fancy rugs. It is just a regular workspace where we get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the neighbors come by to talk about the weather or how the neighborhood is changing. We have seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we stay right here in our small corner. Usually, we spend our time checking through our stock or talking to people who walk in with questions. The delivery trucks sometimes struggle to find the lane behind the hotel, so we often have to go out and wave them down. It is a simple life and we like being part of this local patch of the city. We don't worry about being polished; we just focus on doing the work that needs doing before we head home for dinner.
